A Beginner's Guide to the Thunderbird Skin Range

A guide from Thunderbird Skin

As Thunderbird Skin's range is currently focused on their hero product, the Skin Rescue Cream, getting started is incredibly straightforward. This all-in-one cream is designed to be your primary treatment and moisturiser for any areas of concern.

For a beginner, the most important thing is to understand its texture and how to apply it correctly. The cream is rich and emollient, so a small amount is all you need. Start by ensuring the skin is clean and completely dry. Take a small scoop of the cream, about the size of a 5p coin, and warm it between your palms or fingertips. This makes the balm-like texture more pliable and easier to spread.

Instead of rubbing vigorously, gently massage the cream onto the affected skin using firm but gentle pressure. Allow the warmth of your skin to help melt the product as you work it in. For patches of psoriasis or eczema, ensure the area is fully coated with a thin, protective layer. For scars, massage the cream directly onto the scar tissue for a few minutes each day to help break down fibrous tissue and encourage healing. Use it twice daily, morning and night, for consistent relief and repair.
